The Act
The Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 gives people the right to access information held by the University of Strathclyde.
- The Act gives people the right to ask for information
- It requires the university to produce a Publication Scheme
- It encourages good records management practice.
The Environmental Information Regulations (2004) relate to the release of environmental information.
The Data Protection Act gives people rights to access information held about themselves.
